Nikon and MG Motor UAE Celebrates International Women’s Day with an Exclusive Competition

Dubai, UAE: gulftechInter Emirates Motors (IEM), a subsidiary of Ali & Sons Holding LLC,  the official distributor of MG Motor vehicles in the United Arab Emirates, has taken its partnership with Nikon Middle East to the next level; this time to celebrate women content creators in the UAE by giving them the opportunity to level up their photography and videography skills this International Women’s Day.

The competition is open to all female content creators in the UAE. Contestants would need to share their best travel photos or videos on Instagram using the hashtags #NikonWomenWhoWander, #NikonMEA, #MGMotorAE, and #LongbeachCampground for a chance to be a part of a fellowship of female content creators. These unique female creatives will then embark on a journey of discovery to the Longbeach Campground in Ras Al Khaimah equipped with a Nikon Z camera and an MG car from MG Motor UAE and IEM.

Submitted entries will be evaluated and 10 winners will be selected by an expert panel of judges from Nikon Middle East, MG Motor Middle East and IEM. These shortlisted winners will earn a 3-day, 2-night weekend staycation from April 9th to April 11th 2022 in Ras Al Khaimah. They will also get a chance to immerse themselves in a highly creative “glamping” experience equipped with the award-winning Nikon Z 6II kit and supplied with a range of MG’s best sedans and SUVs from 2022.

We believe that it is our responsibility to highlight and engage with female content creators whilst providing them with opportunities to hone their unique skills and talent. We are also quite excited to see their distinctive perspective of our automobiles in one of the most scenic environments in the UAE. We invite everyone to follow us on social media, participate and claim their spot in the top 10.”

From 8 to 25 March, aspiring female contestants can follow the #NikonWomenWhoWonder hashtag on social media, and tag us in their content on Instagram with the same to register for this contest and be shortlisted to be in the final 10 contestants. These 10 contestants will be announced on 28 March 2022. The contestants will receive one of MG’s 2022 model year cars, at random, and a Nikon Z 6II camera for the duration of the staycation to capture their content. This will then be followed by 2 in-depth workshops on content creation, led by women.
