OSN Unveils Its June Bundle With Premium Arabic Entertainment

Dubai, UAE – gulftech : OSN, the region’s leading entertainment hub, promises an exciting content throughout the summer-month of June. “OSN Yahala Cinema” and “Ya Hala Al Oula” viewers willhave an exclusive date with the hottest collection of movies, series and programs that guarantees memorable and happy times.

OSN Yahala Cinema, the ultimate Arabic movie destination, premieres an exciting selection of new and exclusive films. Debuting the month with the Egyptian comedy flick, Al Ghasala “The Washing Machine” starring Ahmed Hatem, Hana El Zahed and Mahmoud Hemida, is scheduled for Friday 4 June, 11 PM KSA. A sci-fi movie where traveling through time via a modified washing machine is possible, causing many hijinks situations and comedic conflicts with each trip for its commuters.

The consequent Friday, June 11 at 11 PM KSA local time, will see the screening of yet another Egyptian movie, a drama titled “El Fondouk”, directed by Atef Shukri, the plot revolves around a clandestine extramarital affair involving a married couple, the husband’s best friend, and a random girl at a nightclub. The cast includes Ola Ghanem, Mohammed Najati, Ahmed Karara and Ahmed Badir. However, for the rom-com lovers, OSN has “Sabaa Al Buramah” with Ramez Jalal and Jamila Awad returning to the platform on Friday June 18, 11 PM KSA local time.

OSN Yahala Cinema” hits the Lebanese-productions front, with an exclusive premiere of “Still Burning” on Friday 25 June, 11 PM KSA local time. Written and directed by George Hashim, the film’s events revolve around two best friends separated by war and are reunited over the love of the same woman. The following day, Saturday June 26, at 11 PM KSA local, director George Hashim returns with another movie, “Stray Bullet”. Set during the mid-seventies’ Lebanese Civil War, Noha who’s on the verge of forced marriage, starts a revolution to protest the death of her loved one on the hands of a local militia group.

In commemoration of the late Egyptian legend Abdel Halim Hafez’s birthday, on the June 21, “OSN Ya Hala Cinema” presents three back-to-back movies of some of ‘Al-Andaleeb Al-Asmar’s best features; Shar’aa Al Hob, Ma’abod Al Gamaher, and Al Banat w Al Sief. Born also in June, the channel celebrates the birthday of the Egyptian star Bayoumi Fouad, by showing twelve of his best work throughout 16th of June.

The June 2021 extravaganza certainly does not stop there! The Turkish series “Ta’er Al Sabah  ” continues its first season with exciting new episodes. Stars Demet Ozdemir and Can Yaman play a duo role in the same advertising company, where Can’s character (Sanem) an aspiring writer, falls for her boss (Demet) when being forced by her parents to choose between an arranged marriage and finding a proper job. The nine-time award-winning series runs from Sunday to Thursday till June 30. Additionally, from Sunday to Thursday until June 24 at 8 PM KSA local time, viewers will have the opportunity to watch the Khaleeji drama series “Bayt-Al-Thill”. The tale of struggle between a girl and her mother who despite their relationship come from completely different background.

In the psychological drama category, OSN streams new episodes of Turkish series ” Al Kha’en,” which consists of 60 episodes and runs from Sunday to Thursday at 9 PM KSA local time. The series revolves around the successful physician Asia (Jansu Dre) who lives with Vulkan (Kaner Sindruk), a wonderful husband to her and a great father to their kids. Upon her discovery of her husband’s betrayal, their lives take a turn for the worst.

Amongst the interesting rota by OSN, comes new episodes of the Syrian-Lebanese drama thriller series “Al-Ameed” streaming for the first time on OSN from Sunday to Thursday at 11 PM KSA local time. OSN resumes Syrian romantic drama “Autumn of Lovers” from Sunday to Wednesday at 11 PM KSA local time.

Kharze Zara-a“, the Lebanese romantic show will run until June 23, is also on the list of shows being streamed throughout the month. The work sheds light on two families from different countries, Lebanon and Syria who share their struggle with harsh living conditions, further complicated by star-crossed lovers’ situation of Mutasim Al-Nahar and Rola Bessmati.
